Rochester’s most popular charity sale event is back, offering thousands of high quality new or gently used items!

The Annual Saint’s Place Super Sale Fundraiser will be held Aug. 4-7, 2026 in the large gym of the Parish Center at St. John of Rochester Church, 10 Wickford Way, Fairport, right off Route 31.

The quantity and quality of items is unparalleled. Super Sale shoppers will have access to great deals on purses, jewelry, dishes, glassware, small kitchen appliances, furniture, linens, electronics, books, toys, artwork, sporting goods, bikes, clothing and collectible items, all donated by the Rochester community. All the sale items will be located on one floor in the air-conditioned gym in the Parish Center. There will be plenty of parking spots in the large lot on the campus. New this year is a 10 percent discount on all items on Tuesday, Aug. 4, at the First Chance Sale, where shoppers pay a $10 admission fee but receive the 10 percent discount on purchases.

The Super Sale changes lives and helps Saint’s Place fulfill its mission of “welcoming the stranger.” While Saint’s Place continues to welcome newly arriving refugees with new beds and mattresses, furniture and household goods, and clothing for all four seasons, the organization also continues to help refugees who have lived in the area for a few years.

It’s vital that refugees have the opportunity to learn English and continue their education, so they can get good-paying jobs to support their families and lift them out of poverty. The Saint’s Place Educational Initiative helps fulfill that opportunity. “In the past fiscal year, Saint’s Place provided $103,000 for partial college tuition, vocational training, laptops, textbook purchases, college fees, work uniforms, and tools needed for electrical and auto mechanic employment,” said Michele Quinn, executive director of Saint’s Place. The organization served more than 200 students ages 18 and older.

Here is one example of a refugee that Saint’s Place helped in recent months. A 19-year-old woman originally from an Asian country received a laptop computer and tuition support for her studies at Monroe Community College where she is working toward an associate’s degree in science. Considering that this young woman arrived here about two years ago, her overall GPA of 3.35 is a remarkable accomplishment that demonstrates her strong motivation and persistence. She wrote to Saint’s Place: “Your kindness has had such a positive impact on my education, and I promise to continue working and making the most of every opportunity.”

Quinn said refugees are extremely grateful for the assistance that they receive from Saint’s Place.

“Even as fewer new refugees arrive in our country, our work at Saint’s Place has remained very busy meeting the needs of families already in our community,” she said. “Refugees living in poverty continue to need beds, bedding, clothing and essential household items, and we are committed to helping them build stable, hopeful lives here. We especially want to help female refugees who may never had the opportunity to get an education in their previous homeland. Helping these women learn English, get an education and a job can have a great impact on their children’s success.”

Jim took his new truck to Mobile Graphics to let them do their thing! Wow, did they ever! Jim talked with them as to what he'd like to be included and an idea as color combination. They came up a few different designs, a little tweeking here and there, then this masterpiece!

Not only do they wrap vehicles and do it amazingly, but there is so much more to this company! They took us for a quick tour of their offices - which were also 'wrapped' in the most incredible graphics! Focused on each individuals' likes for their own office. Talk about rain! Wow! We sure have had weird weather but this past storm brought in a lot of rain. Some areas 7", some others, even more. Pittsford Rotary Food Drive Saturday, July 11

The Rotary Club of Pittsford’s next monthly drive-thru food drive is scheduled Saturday (July 11) from 9 am to noon at the Pittsford Sutherland High School bus loop. Rotarians and Interact Club members will be collecting at the drive rain or shine.

Donations will support the Pittsford Food Cupboard and the Nazareth University Oak Tree Food Pantry.

The Pittsford Food Cupboard plays a crucial role in addressing food insecurity within our community. Donations help ensure that local families have access to essential food items and will promote well-being and stability. See the cupboard’s at the organization's website: PittsfordFoodCupboard.net.

The Oak Tree Pantry serves those with food insecurity in the Nazareth community. The pantry has an ongoing need for granola bars, pasta, peanut butter, soap and other hygiene products.

So, Jim did this thing; called Everblak to pour an 'apron' at the end of his driveway, and to start a new driveway to his mancave. Everblak's crew did the apron in a very short time and it's perfect, should have been done a long time ago! For the other driveway they had to dig out to make it level, then they're putting down milling for fill. That'll be completed soon, already it's driveable and so handy to have. Now when guests drive up to the mancave they don't have to worry about getting stuck or putting ruts in the grass.

The Annual Saint’s Place Super Sale Fundraiser will be held Aug. 4-7, 2026 in the large gym of the Parish Center at St. John of Rochester Church, 10 Wickford Way, Fairport, right off Route 31.

Quinn said refugees are extremely grateful for the assistance that they receive from Saint’s Place.

Hours for the annual 2026 Super Sale are as follows:

Tuesday, Aug. 4: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. First Chance Sale. $10 entrance fee, cash only. New this year: 10 percent off all day!

Wednesday, Aug. 5: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Opening Day. Free admission begins.

Thursday, Aug. 6: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. All items half price. Free entrance.
