Samples are obtained through the direct testing of visible mold colonies on a structure by tape-lift method or swab/culture. Fungal air sampling can be performed with viable or non-viable methodologies. The mold assessor's report will define the site conditions and observations, interpret sample results and provide a remediation protocol as required by NYS Dept. Labor. Post remediation inspections are conducted in conjunction with non-viable air sampling to determine completeness as achieved by the remediation contractor, and for re-occupation of the building.
