You're probably not aware, but, you have the right to a home inspection when buying a house. Because of the pandemic, real estate people told buyers you have to sign off on getting a home inspection. Which really hurt buyers. Now that you can and should get a home inspection, they're putting a limit on the timeframe one can be done, an unreasonable timeframe, in many cases.
