Next Pittsford Rotary Drive-thru Food Drive is June 3

The Rotary Club of Pittsford’s next drive-thru food drive is June 3 from 9 a.m. to noon in the bus loop of Pittsford Sutherland High School. Rotarians and students from the Interact Club will be collecting items, rain or shine.

Food supplies collected at the drive will be delivered to the Pittsford Food Cupboard, which last year aided some 4,000 families and more than 9,400 people.

All food donations are welcome but the need is for any canned tomato products (diced, whole, pureed or crushed); Beef-a-Roni; ravioli; spaghetti and meat balls; spaghetti sauce; ketchup; relish, BBQ sauce; rice sides; oatmeal; coconut milk; collard greens; spinach; cleaning supplies; jelly or jam; 100% juice; ketchup; taco shells; taco seasoning packets; coconut milk; collard greens; spinach; olives; mushrooms; pizza sauce; jalapenos; and  chiles.  Also needed are clean reusable Wegman’s or Target bags and current magazines. The Cupboard has no more room for corn of any type or any type of canned beans.

The Pittsford Food Cupboard is among the numerous organizations benefiting from Pittsford Rotary’s mission of service.
