September, wow! Well, we did have a great summer, like years ago, hot too! Summer does go by too quickly in our area. Now onto fall, school, chilly nights. Attend the football games, have fun going on some long walks in a park, take a drive to enjoy the changing colors, lots to do in the fall!

Well, we had a significant change of temperature! 90 degrees to 60's & 70's!  Nights in the 50's - what is going on? All of a sudden we entered fall! Not even out of August. Moving indoors since it's so chilly outside! Your house will be closed up for 6 months and you'll be breathing in all kinds of dirt, dust, who knows what else that's been collecting in your ductwork. Don't forget, you can have a home inspection anytime. Selling and don't want any surprises when you go to put your house on the market? Not selling or planning on selling just want a report card of the condition of your home, what shape is your roof in? Do you need to replace your furnace or water heater? Are there safety issues you should know about? So many other important things to be informed on! Especially if you're buying a house! The prices of houses are incredibly high, this is the most expensive purchase you'll probably make in your lifetime. Know ahead if this is a wise decision or will you get stuck with a house that will drain your bank account - well actually, there most likely isn't much left after purchasing the house and overbidding! It could be scary to find out after the closing all the expenses and repairs you didn't know about. Be smart, be informed, insist on a home inspection because afterwards it'll be too late to do any negotiating or not get that house.

 

 

 

  

 

Ok, so we're back to Jim's woodshop! He, of course, hired The Metal Roof Outlet to cover the shop. Jim has used them for all the other buildings he has, so it was a no-brainer to get the best metal roof company - The Metal Roof Outlet to continue his project! They were done in less than 2 days and it looks fantastic. Their installers are so experienced even though this was a pretty basic roof (to them) they have done giant houses with all kinds of peaks and have installed them perfectly. 

I think they enjoyed doing this one to take them back to their early days! They put as much attention in this 'simple' job as they would a much more detailed one. Each one is important to be installed correctly.

For most of us, our pups mean the world to us. We treat them like a family member - as it should be! We want them to be safe, and happy! Jim's family acquired a rescue pup, Willy, Buddy, whatever name! He is 50% beagle, with the beagle nose and intelligence. Very inquisitive indeed!
