Advantage Federal Credit Union, along with the Rochester Teacher’s Association, announces an additional Scholarship specific to a RCSD High School senior.

Advantage Federal Credit Union, partnering with the RTA, will be adding one more scholarship to their portfolio of annual scholarship awards.  Over $28,000 in scholarships is awarded every year to both high school seniors and college students.

We added one $1,000 scholarship to a high school senior from a Rochester City School.

AFCU now offers eight $1,000 scholarships to high school seniors, and four $5,000 scholarships to students enrolled in college, two of those dedicated to RIT and SUNY Brockport students.

Advantage Federal Credit Union was established in 1931 as the Teacher’s Credit Union serving the Rochester City School District.  Advantage continues to serve the City School District along with over 70 employee groups including the University of Rochester, Highland Hospital, and Rochester Regional Health, SUNY Brockport, Fairport Central School District, and RIT. Advantage also serves individuals and their family members who live, work, worship, volunteer or go to school in the City of Rochester.
