A note from Amy regarding Hometown Christmas 2018 and the Nicholas Kovaleski Memorial Scholarship

A Change to Hometown Christmas 2018

Hello,

This note is to notify you that there has been a change of plans for Nicholas Kovaleski’s Hometown Christmas 2018.  I will not be able to bring this production to life this season.  I have been dealing with an injury since August that is going to require surgery.  Our plate has been full with our children breaking bones, burns and the stress that comes with the healing.  I hope all of us to be in tip top shape for next year.

This production means more to me than just a show of entertainment.  Not only was Nicholas so loved by our studio family and community, but I can honestly say his journey changed my life forever.  Because Nicholas “Lived with Purpose” so many lessons were delivered daily.  With confidence I can say I am a better person because he lived.  He was/is a force which led me to a closer relationship with God which has helped me look at life from a new perspective.  I thank God for Nicholas and wonder where I would be if his journey of life had not included me.

Over the past eight years our production has raised more than $20,000 which in turn has been dispersed into many awards to graduating Albion High School students through The Nicholas Kovaleski Memorial Scholarship.  With the absence of this only fundraiser for this memorial, I am asking you to consider making a donation to continue the support of Nicholas’ memory and scholarship.

Checks may be made out to:

The Salmon Children’s Foundation
14100 Maple Street
Albion, NY 14411

Please note in the memo Nicholas Kovaleski.  The Salmon Children’s Foundation is a 501-C3 foundation which helps families in our area financially when tragedy strikes a child.

Thank you for your past love and support of this production and for considering a donation.  Please keep the    Kovaleski family near to your heart as this holiday season approaches.
